Drohi Review

Hi Folks, Drohi is a pretty good movie written and directed by debutant female director Sudha K Prasad, I can say this is probably the best movie for Srikanth in all aspects and there are many Indian movies like this, but this one is a little different concept. Srikanth acting, his stunt performce and dancing skills improved a lot in this movie. Vishnu did an good job in this movie competing with Srikanth which is not easy for newbie. All the characters Poonam Bajwa, Poorna, Pooja, Thiyagarajan, SPB Charan did a splendid performance in this movie. Music by Selva Ganesh and Alfones Roy camera is pretty impressive.

Drohi is a story about two friends becoming foes at the young age. Roja (Pooja), a pretty looking school teacher for Karuna (Vishnu) and Samy (Srikanth), she gets killed by a rowdy. Karuna the tough kid and Samy the smart kid, plans and tries to kill the rowdy. It is like operation success but the patient died, they kill the bad guy but then they get caught by the cops. When the cops tortures Samy, he reveals the truth. Samy becomes traitor (Drohi). Karuna gets released using political influence. Samy finds a mentor Narayan, a drug smuggler while Karuna become IPS officer. Karuna and Samy try to outsmart each other. Karuna sister (Malar) falls in love with Samy, Karuna falls in love with Shruti. Karuna joins the hand with Tanikella Bharani and destroys everybody and finally kills him too.

All the characters did a pretty good job, it was a good action movie from a debutant female director. It’s worth to watch on a Sunday evening. Songs are pleasant to hear. Basically it is a good commercial masala movie.
